      Baptist Church:
 Baptist Church is one of the Protestant Christian churches with more than 40 million believers worldwide. Baptists believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and the Bible is our standard for the life.  Baptists also use emersion for the baptism.  In Japan, there are more than 300 Baptist Churches and organized Japan Baptist Convention.

    Pastor: Munemitsu Shioyama
Born in 1942, and from Kumamoto, Mune Shioyama became a Christian at Kumamoto Baptist Church in Kyushu Island while he was in high school.  He started his carrier as an engineer of his almost 40 years of computer business, and then took various management positions including assignments in the U.S.A.  When he was in mid-50, God called him to be in mission work and started to attend Tokyo Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has been serving as a pastor of Mobara Baptist Church since July 2004.
