This bird is a Red-Green Macaw or also called a Green Winged Macaw. This bird is native to South America and lives in the rainforest. Cutting the trees in the rainforest and illegal trapping makes this an endangered bird. The World Parrot Refuge on Vancouver Island takes care of abandoned and neglected parrots.
